After allowing the launch blue and electricity colorway to stand by itself for a month, adidas have released a new classy black, electricity, and white colorway that will appeal to professionals and amateurs alike.



Along with soccer statistic analysts Opta, the German manufacturer identified a 'new' category of player, the box-to-box midfielder, or the Engine. The new Nitrocharge is designed to aid these tireless players in their quest to dominate the proceedings of every match they compete in, and has a number of technologies to do just that.



The most noticeable of these technologies are the Energysling that runs across the forefoot. Along with the Energypulse that is contained on the soleplate, the Nitrocharge is all about offering additional power and energy to its wearer. Focusing specifically on the Energysling, the eye catching band arches over the cleat and is designed to support lateral movements, thus sharpening reaction time on the field. As for the zig-zagging Energypulse, inspired by spring technology, additional energy is reportedly produced by the elastic material.

adidas make sure to include protect their players with the Nitrocharge by including a protective mesh layer around the foot and protection pads around parts of the foot that are most prone to injury.



Staying in line with all of the rest of adidas¡¯ top range cleats, the Nitrocharge 1.0 will be MiCoach compatible.

Some of the players that have been and will continue to headline the new silo include Bayern Munich's Javi Martinez, Dani Alves of Barcelona, Roma's Danielle De Rossi, and Ezequiel Lavezzi of PSG.
