Weighing in at 5.8ounces, this limited edition lightweight boot is set to be the first football boot to have an upper that is knitted from heel-to-toe, providing a completely new second-skin fit that retains the strength of a conventional boot.?Primeknit employs just one yarn, knitting the entire upper ¨C wrapping the shoe around the foot. Engineered stiffness controls stretch and support. And while traditional shoes are constructed from several pieces, overlay and underlay, the Primeknit reduces the amount of materials to a single knitted layer.

New levels of flexibility and comfort are provided by the one-piece knitted upper of the boot and the yarns used to construct the Samba primeknit provide stability and strength equal to conventional boots. Yarn I hear you say. How is Yarn durable? Well, as you would expect that is a challenge Adidas challenged head-on and the result is each yarn receiving a high precision coating that guarantees water resistance even in the most challenging conditions. Adidas took them to pitches for testing between the?months of September to December. Those months are known for the toughest conditions, extreme wetness & coldness. Adidas were in constant exchange with the players to gather their performance feedback and monitor the progress under sun shine, rain, wind and snow.

In terms of visuals, the boot almost has a brown like color due to the Samba combos included.?The shoe combines four vibrant Samba colors in Solar Blue, Solar Zest, Blast Purple and Pink to a single yarn with a colorful melange effect.
